The Classic Vintage & Modern Racing Club of Jersey (CVMRC) is a motorsport club for enthusiasts of classic, vintage and modern vehicles — both cars and motorcycles — who enjoy competitive sprint and hillclimb events, social gatherings and shared passion for motorsport

Our competitive sprint and hillclimb events run under the regulations of:

♦ Motorsport UK (MSUK) — for car competitions, and

♦ Auto-Cycle Union (ACU) — for motorcycle competitions.

All competitors must adhere to the relevant sporting and safety regulations set by these governing bodies

Entry forms for each event (cars and bikes) are available online via the club website when entries open. Links and submission information are published in advance for each event.

Fees, deadlines, and class eligibility are detailed in the regulations for each event.

All competitive events operate under strict safety controls in line with ACU and Motorsport UK regulations. This includes vehicle eligibility scrutineering, protective gear requirements, marshal teams, emergency response cover and road closures where applicable.

Competitors are reminded that motorsport carries inherent risks and must comply with all safety instructions from officials.

General club meetings are typically held on the last Wednesday of each month, starting at 7.30pm at a local venue (often the St Helier Yacht Club).

These meetings are open to members and provide a forum for planning events, discussing club matters and socialising

We organise a range of racing events throughout the year, including:

  Motorsport Events
Short, timed speed events usually held on closed public roads Time-trial style competitions up hill courses such as Westmount, Mont Pinel and Greve de Lecq and flat out sprints like the Victoria Avenue course.
